Only a horn can reproduce the lowest notes of our music with great efficiency. But bass horns are physically required to be large. Therefore, bass horns have been curled or folded to reduce their overall dimensions relative to the axial length of the horn.
To keep the size of WVL 14650 small while maintaining the low distortion performance of a bass horn, we use the listening room as the cabinet and as part of the horn function. Your home transforms into a colossal horn, offering the utmost precision and control, representing the pinnacle of technological bass production.

With an efficiency of 96dB at 50Hz one single Bass-Horn is more efficient than most competitors in the important 40-100 Hz range. With a program power of 2500W the 460mm bass driver delivers breathtaking and perfect bass reproduction.
By using a pre-chamber between the driver and the horn mouth, the transmission range is acoustically limited towards the top and distortion is reduced by 6 dB.
The Bass-Horn modules with improved sound transformation in the spatial planes are quite large. Installation usually depends on the space available. For a system with one Bass-Horn, we recommend an upright installation in the corner of the room. A system with two Bass-Horns can be placed either vertically in two corners or horizontally on opposite side walls.
This allows our mid- to high-range speakers to be integrated into the listening room in the best possible way, outside of the corners.
