Ingredients

The Ushindi Transducer

For detailed technical information about the Ushindi Ultra Low Distortion Transducer Technology, please refer to the manufacturer's specifications, which can be obtained from Purifi Ushindi.

The Mundorf Air Motion Transformer

A comprehensive seven-page report on the manufacturing process of Mundorf's highest quality Air Motion Transformers is available for download as a PDF document.

Another noteworthy aspect is the pair selection from 100 manufactured tweeters each for Wolf von Langa. This quality is discernible and distinctive in comparison to other products on the market.

The Wolf von Langa cabinet. Made in Germany.

The cabinet construction is noteworthy. Wolf von Langa has developed a sophisticated sandwich wall comprising a fiber

material and stone that effectively blocks the transmission of sound. This acoustically inert enclosure is a crucial element in the performance of this compact speaker, which is equipped with state-of-the-art speaker technology.

The Wolf von Langa Cabinet Dampening

For sound absorption of a specified frequency range inside the housing we use a special flame retardant foam material with porous structures. This ensures that no energy is lost in the low frequency range, while absorbing only those bands that should not be radiated from the interior.

The Wolf von Langa Crossover Network

What additional factors are of consequence in determining the quality of a crossover, beyond the intrinsic characteristics of its constituent components? The topology! The configuration of frequency crossover networks may be either parallel or serial. In this case the series network is the better choice than parallel for a number of reasons. It retains a flat response even when the driver characteristics change, and is to an extent 'self correcting'. And secondly the radiation pattern is extremely well behaved and there are no lobing problems at any frequency.

WOLF VON LANGA SPECTRA

This composition exhibits a novel design and captivating musical elements

An exclusive 8" Ushindi Ultra Low Distortion Transducer combined with an unique Mundorf Air Motion Transformer in a new, vintage Design: WVL 11724 SPECTRA.

The solid, cross-laminated Moso bamboo cabinet houses the technically superior bass-midrange driver. A precision sphere made of a semi-crystalline polymer and an integrated magnetostat tweeter ensure breathtaking airiness. The fine pattern of the bamboo appears in a unique way thanks to eight layers of high-gloss lacquer that have been sanded and smoothed again and again.

SPECTRA is complemented by an Eero Saarinen Tulip base, adding a touch of elegance to any space. It is an iconic design element from the 1960s that is often associated with the Space Age style. Furniture in this style is not only functional, but it also serves as a decorative element in any room.

This loudspeaker system is distinguished by its unique design, with a production run limited to four pairs worldwide, making it a highly exclusive product.
